Hi

I am Ian Hays. I can see that there are problems with this blog in as much as my work is not intended to offer the "world different puzzles".

Finnegans Wake by James Joyce and the Large Glass by Marcel Duchamp are complex works of Modernism and both of course are built from Language. They both have philosophical reasons for being the way they are - which is complex. But they are not puzzles either!
They are important critical and creative works of art far in advance of other work yet to come. Hence my work is concerned with their heritage and the ways in which the Wake and the Glass came about - largely through hard work, reading and more reading on the part of Joyce and Duchamp. Do not be mislead into thinking that this work is concerned with "puzzles". This is a huge mistake. The work is really concerned with Being, what it is to live, see, hear, speak, smell and feel. It is art based on the History of Art, the History of Literature and the History of Philosophy among many other areas of intellectual indeavour.
